Rare Tibetan Fish Found for First Time in India, in Arunachal's Tawang

Scientists recorded rare Himalayan fish Schizopygopsis waddellii for the first time in India, found in Tawang's Pangkang Teng Tso Lake at 12,800 feet. Previously known only from Tibet's Yamdok Lake, the discovery expands India's freshwater biodiversity and Eastern Himalaya-Tibet links.
