Arunachal's Voter List Reduce by 1.91 Lakh After SIR Verification

The Special Intensive Revision cut Arunachal Pradesh's electorate to 6,96,026 from 8,87,505 pre-SIR, after scrutiny of 2,18,588 notices for unmapped / discrepant entries. Women outnumber men in the rolls (1,025:1,000). Affected voters can appeal to the district magistrate within 15 days.
